Warri Wolves FC defeated Sunshine Stars FC 3-0 in a Nigeria Professional Football League.
This is an encounter that took place at the Warri Township Stadium on Saturday evening. The team started the game like a bullet from a gun. With the attacks raining down on Sunshine’s backline and Salami in particular was the focal point of much of the early threat.
It was the third time in two seasons that the Warri Wolves striker would be playing against the club he once represented.

Paul Aigbogun’s men continued where they left off after the break but the Akure Gunners coming close twice through Tunde Adeniji and Prince Aggreh to restore parity but they failed to beat put the ball across the goal line.
In the 52nd minutes, Salami of Warri Wolves was on hand to double the advantage, tapping home at the back post after Goodluck Onamado’s moment of individual brilliance before completing his treble in the closing stages of the game to sum up the miserable evening for Sunshine.
