The Nigeria Vice President Yemi Osinbajo left Nigeria on Thursday to represent the country at the World Economic Forum 2016 in Davos, Switzerland.
A statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Nigeria Vice President, Mr Laolu Akande, said that Osinbajo would participate in a number of panels at the annual global event.
According to the statement, the panels will be highlight the prospects of the Nigerian economy under President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that Osinbajo would also hold meetings with other leaders during the World Economic Forum 2016.
The statement further noted that this is the first participation of the Buhari administration in the Davos forum.
The Nigeria Vice President is expected to return home on Saturday.
