Civil Servants Request N46,000 Minimum Wage

It is no longer news that the Nigeria economy has grown so high that its beating really had on Nigeria civil servants.

Hence, the Secretary-General of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), Mr Basir Lawal, has requested N46,000 as minimum wage for Nigeria workers to enable the common man savage the economy situation in the country.

Nigeria News men gathered from Mr. Lawal that the current N18, 00 minimum wage was no longer feasible with the worsening economy hardships facing the Nigeria civil servants in the country.

He also mention that the new wage that is being requested by civil servants was reached at after the association’s meeting with the National Public Service Joint Negotiating Council (NPSJNC)

Mr. Lawal urged government to show understanding with the Nigeria civil servants on their demand and do the needful, to make life worth living for Nigerian workers.
