Apple iPhone 8 Latest Updates Alleged To Have No Home Button

Apple iPhone 8

Apple iPhone 8 without the home key among Android Smartphone’s is less difficult to do than on Apple’s iPhone for a lot of reasons, with one of these being Android having built-in compatibility for a virtual home button.

The Apple iPhone 8, on the other hand, has the circular home button constructed by having the Touch ID fingerprint sensor embedded under it, for models after the iPhone 4s.

It has been quite common for Android models to ditch the home button altogether in favour of touch-sensitive or virtual ones.

The Galaxy phones of Samsung are the top-selling on the market today. All of these have distinct oval, elongated buttons below the display. Several rumors suggest that Apple’s iteration of its flagship phone would not feature its familiar home button. This is once it would be released sometime this year.

In place of the button, Apple iPhone 8  is believed to be integrating the “Taptic” technology. This is to give users the “feel” of pressing a button. Apple might also have Touch ID embedded within the display. The iPhone 7 might have already marked this particular transition, as it featured a haptic, solid-state home button which does not click at all.

The button, instead feels just like a click of the Taptic Engine of Apple. This is the same technology applied on the Force Touch trackpad of MacBook.

Rumors also suggest that there would be three new models for the iPhone for this year. This includes a premium redesign for the 10th anniversary. It has a 5.2-inch OLED display to be billed as the “Apple iPhone 8”.

It well has 2 new versions of the iPhone 7. This would be known as the “iPhone 7s” series.
Apple is expected to release new hardware for the iPhone 7 until the latter part of 2017.
